About
TheBA is a space for sharing thoughts from time spent in various industries.
Why the BA?
Starting with my time as a business analyst, I found it interesting the way roles are proposed and the expectations of those with titles, above working as a team to simply solve problems. I'd often be referred to as "The BA", and it became a point of amusement for me working in the world of software.
The core principles for a good BA are being curious, and having a propensity to learn and understand so those principles are what lead to why I created this space. It is not about titles, it is about wanting to solve problems well, and being able to ask questions to further understanding.
